Winning an appeal

Hi ladies and gents (because some gents do have problems with this too and they do go on this forum)
I was just wondering has anyone appealed against a decision made by tax credits? If so how did it turn out? I've just had my claim stopped and have been told I can appeal against this.

Without boring you with all the details,I got a letter in feb this year identical to one I received in 2010 telling me l live with a partner I don't I share a house with another adult,I sent the same evidence as before as my circumstances haven't changed,they've now decided my evidence isn't enough so stopped my wtc n ctc two weeks ago,I rang and was told a letter was sent on 20th march I received this letter Tuesday this week.ive been to the CAB they've given me an appeal form to fill in
