Paid an initial lump sum for car insurance and the rest by DD.
Its showing up in my bank as date Not Available just now.
Will it show up with a date in the future or will they just whip the money out?
And will it be a month after the initial payment or a random date? thanks

For a direct debt there won't be a collection date listed in the same way as a standing order.
The norm is either 10 days from first payment or the same time the following month.
In either case you should get a letter confirming when it will taken and in most cases you can amend the date if you wish.
Hope this helps!
