Sorry, another NCT sale thread

I've got the seller's pack with some suggested prices and I'm going to go for a big clearout of baby clothes and a few bits of kit. The sale is in mid-April.

I've hung on to a few summer newborn items in my previous ebaying, specifically for this sale, because I know there's no point in selling them in the winter, and I already cleared out DD's snowsuits and fleece swaddlers via ebay because vice versa.

However I have a load of 2.5 tog grobags in size 0-6 months. These aren't listed on the suggested prices so I have no real idea what to charge. I have listed a few on Ebay but they haven't shifted, I suspect partly there are a lot out there and partly the postage is now prohibitive for just one or two of these. Will these sell and if so, how much for (not all of them are Gro brand)? You do need these in cooler summers but are they really a winter item?

Also, with clothes at the higher brand end of the market (e.g. Little White Company, Frugi, Scandi brands) is there any point in pricing them higher than NCT's suggested prices or should I just try and ebay these first?

Most of the clothes are 3-6 months (I've donated most of the 0-3) and mainly boys, which I gather sell better thankfully.

I aim for about a third of new price for more expensive items. Can't remember what grobags cost but £3-4 sounds reasonable.
Clothes - they are still second hand. I wouldn't pay much of a premium for labels. Anything above £3 for clothes makes me think twice. If you want rid keep prices low.There will be so much newborn stuff there and from experience as a helper, cheap goes first!

I'm going to try the nicer brands on eBay first as it's not for a few weeks. But DH and I got most of it labelled up today and priced it to sell.
They get you to leave the stuff at our branch so it sounds quite relaxing !

A lot of premium brand clothes sell pretty well in ebay. We have got, on average 1/4-1/3 of the original price back, as long as they are popular designs and clearly labelled by store name. On the other hand, I am always willin to pay more of such brands and would be if I saw them at an NCT sale, so why not try it.

I've got one batch up on ebay at the moment, I'll get photographing for the rest of that bag (and I found the Frugi hat to go with the Frugi sleepsuit!) later in the week I think. Discovered a Little Shrimp jacket that's too small lurking in the wash basket too...

I've had loads of frugi etc bargains at NCT sales - they definitely go for more on ebay. Gro bags dont go for much either. I think people are very reluctant to pay over a few pounds per item at NNS.

When getting rid of things I took bad condition stuff to clothes bank/recycling, expensive brands on ebay then anything that didn't sell on ebay and the average stuff to the NCT sale. Whatever I had left at the end I donated to charity.

Any of my supermarket brands, even if almost new, have just gone to the charity shop. I have SO MUCH STUFF (result of having things handed down) that it's not worth labelling all that.

DH and DM did a stellar job of production line labelling at the weekend so think we are getting there. I'm actually going to have to search for two reusable nappy wraps that were labelled up but have sold on ebay!
