Dads equity release

Dad paid off his mortgage when he retired, then took out equity release. My lovely dad passed away very recently and I would love to be able to live in the home I grew up in, with my children...
Problem is, I have no income as I'm a sahm and partner is self employed so wouldn't be able to get another mortgage.
I guess that there is about £35-40k owed.
Can anyone advise me as to whether there is a way for me to keep the house that I called home for most of my life

You need to find out how much is owed and you will have to pay that off. That would usually be done through a mortgage, if you can't get one that your options will be very limited and it's likely the property will need to be sold

First step is to find out how much is due on the mortgage It might be more than you think Some equity release mortgages roll up the payments
