Would you take insurance out with a non Loyds underwritten company

Have posted on a caravan forum about my new insurance and someone is horrified as my policy is underwritten by Agegis who are apparantly a Hong Kong company. She reckons I should cancel and get a Lloyds underwritten policy.

I've googled them and they have a three star Defaqto rating which is the same as RAC caravan insurance. Also found a ratings website with lots of negative reviews but let's face it, who would leave a review saying they were happy with their insurance company? You only leave a review when you're hacked off with them. I could slag off Post Office insurance from here to eternity but I'm sure some people are happy.

I know insurance companies may try and wriggle out, etc but if ive read the small print and stick to conditions such as always having a wheel lock on the van then surely they can't just refuse to pay out?
