quick self assessment question....

argh Tax return question..... about the earning over 50k and child benefit.... the form asks if me or my partner were entitled to child benefit (which is yes) then says - 'was your income over £50k?' mine wasn't but my OH was 'just' - does this 'your' refer to a collective us as a couple or just me?

It then asks if you were the highest earner. They are the one who pays the tax

whoever is the high income earner fills it in with their details. It is for one person only and does not require joint details

Agree with the other posters - your OH is the one who needs to complete the tax return (and pay any tax owed).
