I'm well on my way to clearing off all debt, just one pesky CC left to do.
Thought best way to do it is a great deal with Tesco clubcard CC offering 34mths 0% balance transfer. I never spend on CC anymore, just need to clear as quickly as poss.
So, go through the online application, all good, application successful, credit limit set (double that of the balance set to transfer across) but when I get to the "enter the card number and £ for balance transfer" it just comes up with an error "Please check number (correct) or card type not supported for balance transfers)".
It's a Natwest Mastercard. Gah. And now the application, which I won't use if they don't do transfers to this card, will be on my credit report. BUM.
Any ideas why/has this happened to you?
