NRAM refund (unsecured loan)

Hi,

My now husband and I took out a mortgage (Together 5 year fix) with Northern Rock in 2006.

The mortgage part was £120k and the loan part was for just under £10k.

I've just seen this article from last month;

www.theguardian.com/money/2014/dec/10/northern-rock-compensate-borrowers

Does anyone who knows a bit about this think we'll be eligible for a refund? We've since moved and changed our mortgage company.

Many thanks.

I think they wrote to us a year or so back and did some sort of refund hut certainly not the amount in the article!

Please could you let us know how you get on?

Thanks!

Howabout The first review was in 2012 but a further review in 2014 found that 'the non-compliance with CCA requirements took place over a longer period of time than we previously believed.'

Might be worth contacting them to see if you're due a further refund?

bberry Will do!

I've had two refunds, one in 2012 and another last month.

The unsecured loan was for £18k in 2006, over 25 years. We've had about £2k refunded, bringing the redemption date forwards by 4 years.
