childrens bank account help

Hi, I would like to open a savings account for my new baby, problem is that I have a bad credit rating after early mistakes, would this affect my application at all? thanks in advance

Deposit accounts require proof of identity more than credit checks.

No, it will be your babies account not yours. Go with halifax they pay 6% if you pay in at least £10 a month.
