endowment - wondering if I was miss sold my policy - probably too late to try and claim?

I have a 25 year endowment with CIS, due to mature in 2 years

It's a massive shortfall on what it is supposed to cover - however luckily it is no longer needed to repay my mortgage as by luck this has now been fully paid off

I'm considering cashing in my endowment and putting the money somewhere else

However it's only just really occurred to me that I may have been miss sold this policy as I took it out whilst still living at home with my parents and was advised to treat it as a savings policy

It wasn't even ob my radar

You can still complain if you were miss sold. It is however a savings policy, so on that basis it's OK.
