Maternity Pay - shift allowance

Hi all,

My current role as a shift role in which I receive a 25% shift uplift in addition to my basic salary for working shifts.

Will my maternity pay take into considering my basic wage + shift allowance or just my base wage?

My company policy doesn't specify either way.

SMP is based on what you actually got paid in the relevant weeks (weeks 16-24?)

Anything above SMP is entirely dependent on your company's policy.

Brilliant, thanks :) . Will just have to wait I guess until work decides on what their policy is :D
