help im confused

so had to reduce hrs of work due to hyperemisis and doctors order. had first pay slip through dropped pay from 800 to 400. do I need to give new info to tax credits and will this alter amount being paid in rax credits

I would also contact HMRC in case it affects your tax code.

Your income has changed, so you need to inform tax credits.

Yes to informing tax credits.

They will ask for a new estimate of your annual earnings and adjust accordingly.

It won't however affect your tax code, and you do not need to contact Hmrc.
