I know this is a how long is a piece of string type question but roughly how much would you spend on a monthly basis on gas, water and electricity in your home and what size house do you have?

I am just trying to work out roughly how much this will cost me per month with two adults in a two bed semi.

Thanks!

130 gas and electric per month and 40 water on a meter. 4 bed detatched, 2 adults 2 small children oop north.

I'm gobsmacked how much some of you have to pay for water down south!

We've just signed up to another year of fixed rates for gas and electric with British Gas through Sainsbury's, and we're with Southern Water on a meter. We pay £40 a month on water, and £70 for gas and electric. Using £75 a month really, but we're almost £60 in credit. We're 4 in a 3 bed detached.

I'm really on top of reading our meter's, keeping tabs on our usage, and searching for the best deal. I even keep a spreadsheet. Love a good spreadsheet I do! Grin
