Changed bank account but forgot to tell Child Benefit

I fill the form online now, but will I lose the money in the past three months? I changed account 3 months before.
So silly me. Very angry with myself!

Is the other account open still? Did you use a switching service, if so maybe your bank can talk to previous bank about having payments in to old account transferred.

The old account was closed. I was relieved too much when I was told by the new bank that all the transaction will be directed to the new account during the transfer period. Then after that, I didn't do anything until I realized child benefit didn't arrive.

If the old account was closed, the payments will have been returned to them. Give them a call, they should be able to sort it out for you
