First Utility Customer Service ??????

I switched to First Utility 10 Months ago because they were the cheapest. Now I know why !!! They have still not sent me a correct bill. I am on Economy 7 and I give them my meter readings every month and they either switch the day and night readings or they decide I am not on Economy 7. I have lost count of the number of times I have phoned but nothing ever happens. I am so annoyed with them that I want to leave but I can't until the billing is sorted out !!

Are you under contract? You can apply to leave 49 days before the contracts up.

They can't stop you or charge you exit fees after that.

Google the email address of the CEO of the company and email them saying you will take it to the ombudsman.

I'm afraid the others are no better, I am emerging from a 13month battle with British Gas over switched readings.

First utility are by far cheapest for us, into our 2nd year with them. But they've never got a bill right and take ages to get through to! (& they don't hang up at end of call, we 'be heard them having some really rude conversations perhaps thinking we've hung up- hilarious!)
And yes, things do need constant chasing up before you're lucky enough to get through to someone who will actually sort it

We left them fairly quickly because our bills were never right and would appear on random dates in the month. Was a hassle sorting the final bill too.
