credit card repayment plan

I need to write to my credit card companies and catalgues and sort out a repayment plan as can't afford the minimum payments at the mo. What do i need to put? I will be offering them an amount but don;t want to be unreasonable but also don;t to be charged for late payments/over limit etc.

We had originally applied for a loan to consolate all our debt but was refused so this is 'plan b'

TIA

(haveing to nip out so won't be able to reply straight away)

your best bet is to write a letter explaining your circumstances and inlcude an income and expenditure sheet with all your incomings and outgoing per month including your other debts. Let them know what you can afford (dont be too ambitious!). This is the best thing to do and some companies will even stop all charges and interest. If you need help to do this contact CCCS - they are really good and are a charity so free! HTH and good luck.
