Hi all!!

Can't remember my old log in so have nc'd.

I applied for ESA last September, was awarded the assessment rate and was first paid on Christmas Eve last year (not stressful at all haha).

I had my WCA in June, my claim was sent to the benefits centre handling it in July. I've not had a decision as of yet, I've called them many times to ask why and see if I could speed it up. I've just called again this morning, spoke to a lovely man who said he doesn't understand why it's taking so long and it's above the time they try and get a decision back to you. He passed my number on to the benefits centre
They've just called and said they have a back log at the moment and it will be atleast another month before I hear anything.

Anyone have experience of this? It's been 13 weeks since my assessment and almost 12 months since I started the whole thing.

Thanks guys!
