Refunds on Cancelled Debit Card

I bought somethings online and then lost my debit card the next day which I have got cancelled. I need to return some of the stuff I purchased as they don't fit and the terms and conditions are that all refunds will be sent back through the card. Will the refund still reach my account. The bank account is a current account from Halifax.

I think so. It will just be the card number that's changed, not the account details.

I've had a refund made to a different card, when my previous one expired.

Mrs Presley- Thanks, its just I'm worried as the company policy is to refund to the purchasing card which is cancelled now so I'm little worried the money may get stuck in "no mans land" so to speak.

Maybe give them a wee phone and explain about the card.

I've had a refund before but honestly can't remember if I had any problems getting it.....it was at least 10 years ago
