Does your contract state net pay? That's unusual. are you a nanny?

if really net then you'll earn £440 per week so monthly is 440 x 52 divided by 12. But check if it is really net and what your tax code is.

It is net...

Many thanks for calculating :)

Net is unusual even for nannies these days. Net means the employer has no idea how much it will cost them, thus not something many employers do.

With net pay you simply multiply it out.

With gross pay, use a payroll calculator such as www.mranchovy.com/calc/. Use the taxcode from your last payslip, or 1000L if you don't have any payslips from this financial year.

£1906.

But what about tax? Is your employer paying that?

22,880 based on a 52 week year. An actual year is a little different, as number of days per year varies due to leap year every 4 years. As a rough amount though it is fine.

More than I get doing similar hours... Must move to where you are!

Employer paying tax and insurance....

£1906 a month take home for 4 days a week... Great.. Thanks
