Peeved at ATM

Went to draw a larger sum and found the daily limit is £250. Whose money is anyway? Got to leave earlier still for work tomorrow and draw more for a large purchase, what a pain these banks are!

Well its only fair.. atms can only hold so much money and it's a royal pain when you go to one and it's empty.

Also limits opportunity for theft.

The limits are in place to protect your money. All banks have them, although some are more than £250. At least you now know to go to the counter in the bank next time you need to withdraw a lot of cash.

thats strange... my daily limit is £500, sometimes you need to take it out in 2 lots though as some ATMs wont give it all at once whereas others will.

If you contact the bank they can increase your daily withdrawal limit.
