Hello all, i am trying to work out how much money i will get when i go back part time.

My wage is 14,631 per year. that is on a 37.5 hour week. I would like to go back part time for 22.5 hours is there any way i can work out how much money i will earn gross & net? I thought i could divide it, but the thing is someone told me you get less NI tax taken off when you work less hours?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The gross is easy to work out if you divide the whole salasry by 37.5 and then times by 22.5 that will give you your annual salary. What is more difficult is what you take home. I know you don't pay any tax on the first about 4 1/2 thousand a year and then I think it's ten percent but I'm not sure up to what figure. Sorry can't be more help
