I hope someone can reassure me on the letter we have received.
It is a letter from hmrc asking for proof that dd and I live at our address, as well as a questionnaire with lots of questions including our car registration number as well as our expenses and income.
I am French and dh is Pakistani we have been living in the uk for nearly 10 years.
Has anyone else received a similar letter?
Why do they need so much info, such as car registration?
I tried to call them but the lines are constantly engaged and no email address to contact them on.
