Was on mat leave last year, I always overestimate my salary (variable bonuses) slightly to avoid overpayment. I only get SMP so big drop in salary and received working tax too due to this. Renewed and a week later rememberer the first £100 of SMP disregard and rang to therefore change annual salary to deduct £3400 from p60 figure. I was hoping for a payment once they'd adjusted it but that was in May and nothing. Have I missed another change in the way it works? I'm due to make a change when childcare goes down instep rember when dc2 starts school

Do you get working tax or just child?

Ooh that's a point, I normally get the one to help towards childcare but as my salary took a big drop whilst on mat leave I did get some working tax. I did when I rang up about the SMP disregard say I needed to change the salary figure fir this year so they don't assume same as last year. I've not had an award notice yet so maybe they are just really behind? My payments did change in April as they stayed on last years award?
