I wondered if anyone knew....
I am 2 weeks from my baby birth and I am going to move in with my partner who doesn't work at the moment - he does contract work 7-8 months per year. He claims jsa and gets rent paid for which is £136.00 per week and a reduction in council tax which is £18 per week . I am getting £138 smp pay. Does anyone know if I will also have to pay rent as its going to be hard enough until he goes back to work in Novemeber?
thanks any advice is welcome.. also what other benefits if any can I claim? I have worked for the last 20 odd years and never claimed a penny but I damn well am now ive contributed enough over the years.. lol x
