Tax credits: min per week for term time worker?

I am a TA. Never claimed before but need to start. However I only work 14.8 hours for 39 weeks of the year.

What would I need to increase my hours to so that I could qualify for working tax credits? Thank you.

Realise thread title is rubbish. I am asking what is the amount of hours per week over 16 that I will need?

If working term time only it's 16 hours per week on the weeks you work, you don't need to include non working weeks :)

Thanks rockchick that is helpful. So if I was able to just increase by a couple of hours hopefully I should be ok? Are you in this situation too?

Oh, but would that mean I'd only get tax credits for 39 weeks or would it still be all year round?

You get them all year round. I'm not currently in the same situation but looked at all the options when deciding what to do about returning to work after mat leave, term time working was something I considered.
