Bank has messed up overdraft

Have a £500 pound overdraft on joint current account. We got a letter about renewing last week so i rang them up and they agreed to renew it and everything appeared fine, we should be able to pay it off in full over the next 3/4 months as I mentioned to them. Checked the account to day and they've taken it off! This means we are now getting unauthorised charges and will be very tight this month as we have a of big bills coming in. I spoke to a very nice lad at the bank today and he's not sure what's happened as it has definitely been approved so he is trying to sort it and make sure the any charges are cancelled, what is the best route to go down here?

Just wait and let him sort it for you, it's unlikely you will need to do anything further if the bank have acknowledged it was their mistake!

Going to keep checking account, if it isn't sorted by Monday will have to ring again. He did say that he will try to sort the charges as it is their cock-up. Thankfully our food and day to day money is in a different account to this one.
