Is it possible to obtain a catalogue account if my now exh is in debt to the same company and we are registered at the same address?

Are you saying sadly because of the extortionate prices? Very have a Fridge freezer i'm lusting after and is £60 cheaper than any other store (having checked pricerunner) i just need the account to get the fridge, not interested in anything else.
