Tax credits changed from working to child tax but

I'm still working! I don't understand. No renewal pack received and if they have access to my p60 surely they can see I'm working.

I will need to try and call again tomorrow it seems Hmm

In a nutshell,it because you now earn too much to get working tax credit. You still get child tax credit because your income still entitles you to this part of the tax credit benefit.

Stoopid tablet posted too soon.

Meant to say it's probably because you earn too much. On the plus side, if your income is under £16,190 you may now be entitled to free school meals.

Ah that makes sense! Didn't realise there was an upper limit.

My payments are less than £10 per week lower on Ctc. I think I miss the free lunches though - part time salary now about 20k.

Still no pack though. Confused
