I've just found an old pass book from 1998 - only has £15. Any idea where I go to close it? Donyounthinknit will have increased in values at all?

I do know about 2 years ago they were owned by the The Bank of Ireland as we had our mortgage with them. - Maybe worth starting with them?

Mine involved different banks.
Be prepared for a bit of a wait.

I was thrown around different departments (numerous takeovers and no one really knew what to do) until I insisted I was staying there until they gave me my cash.

I had to take proof of old addresses, new address, marriage cert, birth cert and current account details and my passport.

I got interest too. All for the grand amount of £12.75. Grin

My old savings account was passed over to Santander when they stopped.

Is there a branch on the pass book? Is there another BS there now? Our accounts seem to have gone all over the place.
