Hi all :) Im new on here, so if i make any mistakes, please forgive me :)

Would like some advice on WTC.
My husband earnt 19,194.00 in tax year 2013/2014. Tax credit had a figure of 26,000.00, from the previous year, so our award was being based on this.
When he left his job (due to our eldest having some problems) (we have 3 children under 16) we contacted them to inform them of this. I was told he would get WTC run on for 4 weeks.
The problem is we have never had WTC from them, to get a run on for 4 weeks???
When i called to enquire about this, i was told they would be paying this when we renew our tax credits.
So the question is, how much do they potentially owe us??
I am so baffled by this and i know everyone else is, but im more likely to get a straight answer here, rather than from them lol

Thank you in advance :)

Hi Ruby, than you for helping me here.

He was working from April 2013-Jan 2014. The hours were 45 a week.
We didnt pay for any childcare during this time.

From January, we recieved: income support and dla for our daughter.
They have said that income support and dla do not count as taxable income and we dont recieve carers allowance.

And i got the figure wrong i do apologise. It was an income of 24,498 that they had on the last award.

Thank you so much for your help :)
