Does anyone know if TC claim will be backdated to when Dh left pls .

Dh and I separated after 25 years recently so I've put in a claim for Tc . I put that he moved out on 1st April on the form just for ease but really he's been gone longer . On 19 April his salary won't go into what was our account and I wondering will they back date my Tc award to when he left ? I didn't apply sooner I was just too upset to think about anything practical really x Tia

They will backdate 4 weeks usually (from date you applied).

Help ! Omg I've just opened letter and they have awarded me nothing because of my income last year !! I earned 21600 so it says for 3 children they would have awarded me over 7000 but minus the while lit because if income ! Is this right please . I'm single now earn less this years and was hoping something would be coming through ASAP x

ring them up and tell them your income for the current year. Sometimes they will base payments on that
