New to this forum but just wanted to pass on that I saved £72 a month yesterday morning by comparing utility, boiler insurance and home and contents insurance online and switching!
It's something I've been meaning to do for a while-we're not struggling hugely financially but with a baby due in August and me wanting to take a year off....I'm trying to save money where I can! So £35 p/m saving for elec/gas, £21 p/m saving H&C insurance and £16 p/m saving for boiler insurance. Looks like I've been overpaying for a while (haven't looked at this stuff since I bought the flat 5 years ago) so wish I'd done it sooner!!

wow!

although that is about par for the course - if you haven't changed suppliers in 5 years you would have been massively overpaying, loyalty seems to incur a penalty of about 10% a year.
