Texting a uk mobile that is abroad

Can anyone tell me will I be charged extra for this or does it come out of my normal allowance.

Dd is abroad in Europe with her uk phone. I am in the uk. Does it cost me extra to text her from the uk?

I know it costs her extra as she will be on a different network and has had to pay for a bolt on type thing but I didn't know if my texts to her were part of my normal allowance or not.

Any advice appreciated.

It just costs you the same as normal or free if you have an allowance.

They will usually be free for her to receive but cost extra for her to send.
