Hi, I was wondering if anybody could help me, Is ESA means tested and if so how much is the amount your partner earns to stop you from getting it.

Thanks

It depends on the type of ESA, the contributions-based is non-means tested but there is also income related ESA and you couldn't normally get it if your partner is working (can't remember the income levels but it's set pretty low, if they work f/t on min wage I think that brings you above the threshold). I get conts-based ESA and my partner's income isn't a factor.
