well i am surprised at how few of you are interested in these fascinating legal issues

"Developing countries" - yep, that's us.

they are lawyers. its not personal. they dont care one way or the other. their client is right the opposition is wrong and they manipulate the facts to prove it, its what a lawyer does! they would argue just as well the freedom of speech argument if they were mns lawyers instead of.......

but how can they write about defences to allegations of internet libel and then write the kinds of letters they do??

In the same way that nobody can put a disclaimer on her own website absolving her of any responsibility for user/members' postings, yet hold MN and their ISP responsible for what any of us post.

I think it's known as hypocrisy.
