Hi
I wonder if anyone can help. My sister and I bought a house out right together to rent out about ten years ago. I want to sell but she doesn't want to. I want to sell to release cash to buy my own property with my partner and new baby. Can I sell? This is really stressing me out. Thanks in advance.

I would call an estate agent and solicitor for some advice. You cannot force her to sell, but I would of thought you can sell your share. Ideally she would buy your share or the tenants that rent it? I'm not sure anyone else would want to buy a share as they do not know your sister etc.

Thanks, there are no tenants at the moment and she is not in a position to buy me out. I think I will phone solicitors tomorrow. I've also found the legal topic on here so will put my post there.
