We were away last week having a fab hol. Good week until Thursday when DH's bank card bounced. We couldn't do a lot from where we were so spent three days in shock and fear (and Thursday was DS3's 3rd birthday too- great timing) and tiotaly ruined holiday in fear / panic induced bickering. Got to speak to bank today.... WTC haven't paid us for a whole month! - that's £400 almost in a month where I don't get student council tax rate, MOT and car tax and a car breakdown happened, and DS's birthday. No wonder card bounced! Spoke to them, thinking they'd stopped coz they'd overpaid us... oh no. Money is leaving their system but the pay us button has been switched off, ie they cocked up.
Had to beg my CM to let me pay late or couldn't have fed kids or paid for DH to get to work. But it will take them up o two weeks to re-instate. So we have £158 until then.
Also p'd off with DLA as we applied. Now, I acknowledge tia a miracle that application wasn't rejected but they say they will pay if Paediatrician agrees (we have it in writing that she does) and if the school does. Why do the school geta say on how he behaves at home? They have always been totally non-compliant with Sam's care, to the point the Paediatrician discounts ANYTHING they send to her as they contradict themselves and deliberately blovck things (eg they told us to come in and meet the Ed Psych the paed had requested, and it wasn't one, it was someone selling aprenting classes who didn't know about ASD at all).
