Tax credits and term time working

I have a husband, 3 children and work 16 hours a week term time.
Are Tax credits affected by term time working?? As It has just occured to me that my hours will even out to be less than 16hrs per week over the year due to working term time?!

Hi, my understanding is that it does affect it as you say, it evens out less over the year. When I was on a zero hour contract, I had to average out my working hours across the weeks to give them a weekly average.
