Anybody know any that don't charge exorbitant amounts?

Collingwood if still learning.

And then our best option was an admiral multicar policy for 3 of us.

Inebriatededna · 10/01/2014 20:24

1.4 corsa
£2200 a year Confused

It was the cheapest by far though!

Go on compare the market
I got me and hubby (both young) on a really nice car civic type s for 2300 and that includes breakdown, personal insurance, windscreen cover and legal.
Fire and theft.

Ps it was diamond car insurance and if u do policy online they will ring you and offer something cheaper Grin

If I recall correctly Hastings had good policies, as well as Co-op.

shouldn't she be doing the phoning round, not you?

other ideas: put a grown-up on as named driver, consider a black box.

A 21-year-old colleague was able to get fully comp insurance with Admiral for £510 in her first year, driving a Smart car - with pretty much any other car she was being quoted premiums of £1,500 plus. I suppose it brings the premium down because it's not your typical boy-racer car, it has a top speed of about 70mph and she can't stuff all her friends in the back and go on the radge.
