Say no to 0870

I used the 'say no to 0870' website to get a landline number for Optima legal, and got put on to the correct line via the receptonist. just wondered whether i'd get charged the 0844 rate even though I dialled using a landline no. Anyone know? It was nearly 20 mins on the phone.

no, you won't. You get charged by the number you dialled. And no, they don't know what you used.

NEVER dial 0844 or 0871 numbers.

WeQ4U is a fantastic app, similar to say no to 0870 but I've found some numbers available on one and not the other.

Phew, thanks for replies. Will try that app too, as don't always get the landline numbers on say no website.
