My house is on the market (ok its only been two weeks)but I am desperate to sell.

How long did it take you? Any tips?

It all depends on the market for properties of your type in your local area, tbh, ChocP. Your house looks immaculately well presented so it really will just depend on market conditions, unless you have a railway/motorway etc v close by that will mean that your property doesn't appeal to everyone.

My last house went on the market at the end of Sept '05 which is a bad time to sell in my area as the market really drops off and goes v quiet until Jan/Feb. We sold stc in Jan but it fell through 2 or 3 weeks later (untrustworthy buyers making numerous offers of properties when they had absolutely no intention of following them through ). So we changed agents and sold within 4 weeks of being on with them. From accepting the offer to Completion was 8 weeks (v quick), we moved in late April of this year.

So from putting on the market to moving out was Sept - April..... 7 months
