cheapest car insurance?

Can anyone recommend cheap (but good!) car insurance. It would just be for my husband and he has a long record of no claims but quotes still seem to be quite high. Its a small car so I think the price must be being led by the postcode (London and quite mixed socially). Any ideas?

I get mine through Auto Direct who've always found me a good deal - just renewed yesterday actually £210 for a 51 reg Clio which I thought was pretty good!

duck - car insurance depends on your age, your area of where you live and type of car. I would recommend Liverpool Victoria any day.. Tescos are crap.. Best go by Supermarkets insurance.. I rang NU once on the Make me Happy and it was SKY high!!

Thanks, I'll try all of those. Know what you mean about Quote me Happy. Always makes me cross when I see the advert - they were really high with me too!
