Anyone a whizz in terms of child tax credits?

I work part time at the moment but am going full time after Christmas. My wage will increase....will this have an immediate effect on my ctc or will it continue until the reassessment?

They have a disregard now . I think you can earn around £5k extra before it affects your tax credits, but when the new tax year starts it will be based on the higher amount.

Thats fair enough. Maybe I will just call them and see what they say. :)
