Agh! Bought a TV for husband for Xmas. Due to be delivered Thursday and damn, he's going to be working from home on Thursday. Thing is, he's gonna be pissed I spent so much money - but if he'd opened it on Xmas day, he might not be so pissed if u get me. What do I do????

Perhaps return it and get the money back. I am not sure it is wise to spend more than he would be happy with or sensible.

Pretend you're taking it in for a neighbour?

Mum2Fergus · 10/12/2013 21:50

Phone and rearrange delivery.

I wouldnt rearrange as you might struggle to get another date....go with pretend its for a neighbour or stash it in a shed or something? until you can move it safely.
