My Husband and I are together purely because we cant afford to split up. But the rows are getting so bad we cant cope and have decided to go our seperate ways.
I'm so worried how we will survive. We privately rent for £650 which is cheap in London and we have various bank Loans. I'm never gonna survive with 2 kids even if he does pay me maitenance he's gonna need money to pay his own rents. I have tried to lower all of my payments and have thought about a second job but wouldn't be able to get reasonable time off. earn £25,000 a year so I dont hink I'm entitled to any help.

Has anyone got any advice on how they have coped? I feel like he should stay and then the kids will be happy and we can survive but I feel so unhappy and I just need to break away and start a new life.

with your income at that level you will qualify for tax credits. go onto the IR website and you can get do a calculation on what you will be entitled to. Be warned the figure it gives you will be your paymet from NOW until the end of the txa year.

no advice, just sympathy [bump]
ok just one bit - go to the Citizens' Advice Bureau, like today. never assume you can't get any help until you've asked.

Thanks,

I have checked the IR and it's exactly the same as what I get now. My sister provides childcare and so I dont get working tax either.
I dont know what to do...
