sure start maternity grant

Just curious as to whether anyone has applied for a maternity grant and got it without already being on benefits, me and DH both work but only part time and everyone keeps saying we should apply for it but I thought you had to already be on benefits to get it???

You have to get child tax credit at a rate higher than family element or get working tax with a disability premium if you are not on benefits.
