Writing a will from home?

MotherOfSoupDragon · 09/10/2013 22:09

Dh and I don't have a will yet - we are 42 and 49.

Currently dh is out of work, but as soon as he is working again I hope to get this sorted.

Does anyone know if it possible to do this via email/phone instead of going into a solicitor's office?

I have seen mention of a Mumsnetter who writes wills, but now can't find her name.

Grateful for any help.

It's mumblechum = send her a private message

the time to sort this is NOW whilst he isn't working!

If you just need simple mirror wills (you leave almost everything to him and vice versa) then why not get the wills done by TaxAid for a donation to charity? See www.mumsnet.com/Talk/legal_money_matters/1877070-Get-a-simple-will-written-for-a-donation-to-charity
