Hi

Dh is considering accepting a job that pays £4K less, as his job is shaky (company is up for sale, no guarantees they'll be taken on)

this job would cut £2K off transport, and we thought maybe tax credits would make up some of the difference, but when we went on the calculator said we'd get £5 a week LESS

Is this right? If so, Why? (we would qualify for WTC and CTC on this income, as we have 3 kids)

try ringing them up

the website used to show you how much from Monday next week until April so you had to know how many weeks were left (iyswim) - I don't know if it still does that.ie £2000 not over a year but for the next X number of weeks?

Katy bang on, that's what I was doing wrong. Thnks. We'd be no better or worse off exactly (except he'd have a guaranteed job and no night shifts)

Thank you!
