Student loan repayment

Hi. So basically I went to uni as a single parent and graduated etc and now have received statement of how much I owe. Was pretty much what I was expecting but I'm not earning over the threshold.
I'm worried in regards to interest adding to the figure (i know it's rate of inflation but I still see the figure getting raised) and how I'm going to pay it back.
Does the responsibility of payment fall to my DP when we are married? Can we get a mortgage together? Am I over worrying? Sad

The loan is your responsibility, not your partners. It won't stop you getting a mortgage. It will be like paying tax on your salary only one day it will go.

It's only in your name, your DP isnt liable at all, student loans don't affect mortgage or other credit applications like other loans so it won't stop you getting a mortgage. Repayments come straight from your salary as and when you're earning over the threshold and if you salary dropped for any reason your repayments would stop again
