Anyone know about BAA shares?

We inherited some BAA shares a few years ago. We have now received this huge document through the post about whether or not we wish to accept "the ordinary offer". It says ( of course) to consult your accountant or independent financial advisor ( like we have one of those). Does anyone know where I can get free advice? Any good websites?

What do you want to do with your shares? I mean, do you want to sell them?

No I dont think so. We planned just to keep them as an investment and sell when the kids are older to pay towards their education. Assuming any of them get to college Grin. Hope they have their dad's brains

Should we sell them now and put the money in the building society? I thought shares were mneant to do best long term?
